LOL, the hair is raised on your back, what a tuff alley cat you are yes you
are. Yes, you are a tuff alley cat, no doubt. Someone give that alley cat a
fishbone and a tennis ball to suck on and attack. You need to turn in that
computer. You don't deserve a computer give up. I don't know that slightly
pushing your button was going to make you spit a hair ball. <g>

You're not my mama. :)

The devil and the dog in me made me do it.

Use the search function. Read the FAQ. Nuff said.

At any rate, you want to implement a firewall and even achieve security
through it, yet you can't even differ a firewall from a host-based backet
filter and neither differ a good implementation from a horribly broken and
insecure implementation (e.g. Sygate Personal Firewall). And you're too
stupid to notice this situation.

Usenet is not about helping. It's about *discussing* *news*. Your overly
repeated question about so-called "personal firewalls" is neither news nor
any real discussion.

Same for you, but at least I gave you a chance to recognize where you're
going wrong. It you take this advice is upon you.

That bone head cat's head is 5 years hard. It hasn't learned a thing. I even
gave the bonehead cat a link to Sygate basics that the bonehead cat whined
about it couldn't find. But instead of the bonehead cat just taking the
information and running with it, it needed to flare-up in the alley, like
the stupid cat..

The bonehead AlleyCat should just, relax its ears off both sides of its
head, lay the hair back down on its back, take its tail out of the are, and
just walk on down the alley.

You can block some traffic. You can block all traffic. You cannot
reliably block all unwanted traffic.

Al, you can block outgoing trafic only with Sygate. Create this
Advanced Rule:
Name: Block Outgoing; Action: block; Hosts: all addresses;
Ports and Protocol: all; Traffic Direction: outgoing.

Place this as Rule 1 above any other rule in Advanced Rules.
