Just so you know, once you are part of a bittorrent network, you will
be flooded with all sorts of connection requests. Think long and hard
before you willingly open your system up to such random traffic. Also,
I feel obligated to tell you that if you DO download something that is
being tracked by the copyright holder, they can identify you and issue a
request to your ISP to terminate your account. Just ask the people who
have been downloading the latest Star Wars game!
All that being said...
Azureus should have an option in config that will limit the number of
connections allowed. You can look at their online help files to
determine the proper number of peers to allow to connect at any given time.
