I read

"Process Name : QuickTime Task
File Name : qttasks.exe
Description: CoolWebSearch parasite variant
Rating: Typically viruses, spyware, adware and resource hogs."

That surprises me, as - apart from permanently loaded AVG - I run
AdAware and Spybot regularly, and neither have reported this as a
problem.

the malware is QTTASKS
the QuickTime program is QTTASK
