During running a full scan using AVG free Virus software and clicking help I
get the following message:-

"Running Test

When a test is running a dialog is displayed. The File column in the list
shows the names of the already scanned objects. The Result/Infection column
shows either "ok" (meaning that the respective file is not infected), or the
name of the virus detected, or an alert message (e.g. that the file could
not be opened for testing). Finally, the Path column shows the full file
path."

However during the test I get for the three objects shown, which are
kernel32.dll, user32.dll and ntoskrnl.exe, under Result/Infection column the
word "Change"...what does this mean?...is it a problem?...needs any action?

Thanks

What it means is most likely a recent update from MS has changed these
files, so AVG marks them as changed.
If you run a "systems test" (F3 when in AVG Test Center Mode) it will
present you with the option to accept these changes and AVG will not show
these particular files as being changed on the next scan you do. I'm told
over on the AVG Free Forum that the acceptance of these changed files
applies only to that particular MS update of these files any
additional/future changes to these files will again shoiw them as changed,
as I say so I'm told.(G)
You can confirm all of this over on the AVG Free Forum if you read some of
the archived posts.
