If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
when installing running microsoft antispyware i created a restore point.
after running i realized the antispyware had taken out files that i did not
want taken out. i tried to access the restore point to recover what i wanted
but do not know how to access it. also try to recover it useing windows
restore but it will not restore. how do i recover the files that i want to?
please help. thank you.

Hi - there's a newsgroup specifically for the MS Antispyware Beta (I don't
have it handy, sorry). Note the word Beta. Don't use beta software unless
you're absolutely sure of what you're doing and of the risks you are
running - and always make regular backups of your data anyway.

You do system restores in Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools |
System Restore.

Check in the quarantine. Tools > spyware scan > manage quarantine thingy...
