If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options

The internet in my house is in perfect working order on all computers except
mine.Avira free antivirus found malware and quarantined it then deleted
it.Now my computer will not connect to the internet only erroring even after
I remove the cable and reconnect.I used a program called combo fix to try and
remove any stray malware in the computer.I still have no internet connection
so can I get any help?

Please try the following:

- Click start -> run -> type "ipconfig /flushdns" (without quotes) *hit
enter*

- Click start -> run -> type "ipconfig /release" (without quotes) *hit
enter* Type "ipconfig /renew" *hit enter*

- Click start -> run -> type "net stop dnscache" (without quotes) *hit
enter* Type "net start dnscache" (without quotes) *hit enter*
