If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
anyone out there used a usb to serial port adapter that works with DL900 and
NX panels? I have an old toshiba laptop but can't get DL900 to work on it.
keep getting invalid page fault when I try to load it. tried scandisk,
defrag, stripped it down to basic windoze and still no go so time for new
computer I guess.

On the "old toshiba" what is the OS your running??? When you say "windoze"
are you saying Win3.1 --- Win98 --- Win98Se --- Win2000 --- WinNT --- or
something else. Knowing that would be the start to try and cure the or help
with the problem.

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Then my first suggestion would be to upgrade to Win98SE. That should help
in two ways. One it is with less bugs than Win98 and two if you have some
corruption in the OS it should get over written by Win98SE.

Don't bother listing the brand of USB adapter so someone can check if a
updated driver is available. Also, please don't include the build # for Win98
because that surely would not help.
