I did major renovations to my house which involved removing my entire
wired alarm system. And I want to re-install my previously hard wired
Vista 20SE with all wireless sensors and keypads. I reset the system
back to the default and removed zones 01-08. I got a 5882 wireless
receiver and connected it to the keypad connections on the control
panel and set it to address '0'. I thought I would see the 16 new zones
starting from zone 09 or 10, but I don't. I do have a zone 09 with zone
type 05 (expansion module supervision). The next zones I see are 92 -
99.

Is there something more to connecting up the 5882 on the 20Se ?

What should be the starting wireless zone offset ?

Any other information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

You have to enroll each wireless transmitter, then assign it a zone type
and other attributes. You'll need a 6139 keypad and the programming
manual to do this. Good luck!

Thanks for the response.

I do have a keypad connected and the programming manual.
I go to *56 to enroll the devices. I have programmed these devices
before when my system was previously configured. My old system had
hardwired devices , with an expansion box and the wireless receiver
with wireless devices. I got rid of the expansion box and just want all
wireless.

I thought I would start enrolling upto 16 devices at zone 10, but I
can't seem to select zones 10 - 26.

The system only seems to see zones 01-09, 92, 95, 96 and 99.

I assume that I have the 5882 connected correctly, in parallel with the
keypad and set to address 0.

I don't see anything else to do.

Check program field 22.

At least I think so, with that particular model.
