Hi, all

I am trying to help out a friend. His monitoring contract ran out on a
Brinks system that he had installed when purchasing the house two years ago.
Brinks removed a Vista 10SE, which I now want to reinstall.

It checks out okay, and the programming seems adequate for his use. I found
(purchased) the instructions for putting in a new installer's code. It will
accept the code, and operate just fine, UNTIL the power is removed (AC and
battery). It will always come up in "STAY" mode and the new code is lost.

How do I get around this one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm, don't know the answer to that one... If all else fails you can order
the 10SE motherboard by itself from several sources online............ Good

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
It "should" come up the way it went down. I've never had one lose a code though.
