Need System Reccomendation Paul Layman 06-09-2005

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I need to put a system in my new home. I had a Power 832
in my last home, but what some different features this time.
These include:

1) Internet connectivity / Web based setup
2) Dial my cell phone when alarm occurs and tell me problem
3) Email / Text message when alarm occurs and tell me problem
4) Dial in to arm/disarm
5) X10 control
6) Thermostat control

Does such a system exist?

Yes, mostly. Take a look at the ELK M1 Gold. It will do pretty much
everything you want and a bunch more.

Just installed my first HAI OmniPro II. It will do everything you
suggested, as well as allow the user control the alarm, cameras and X10 from
a webpage. Theyre not cheap though.

DMP Digital Monitoring Products and ELK both make products that will allow
you to do what you need and more.
