I am having a brain freeze. What do you call a computer program or utility
that lets you peek inside a long list of files to see what they are without
having to use the application to open the file?
Thanks...
Allan

No,
What I was referring to was a "File Viewer". Does Total Commander do that
too?

Total commander does it and a whole lot more. Let's you even change the file
attributes, and even the date. It also moves files around, & case changes
slicker than snot... :)

Been using Total Commander (formerly Windows Commander) since the days
of my IBM AT (blazing speed of 4 Mhz). I use TC every day; can't get
along without it.
