I wanted to rename the Windows Server 2003 administrator account of a
domain to something else.

Prior to renaming, I wanted to make use that the administrator account
has not been used by any services. For I don't want to stop any
services created by my predecessors running using this account

I am looking for tools and/or scripts which help to search for the
administrator account being used on the system.

Any help is much appreciated.

How about looking in Start/Control Panel/Adminstrative Tools/Services?
