I'm trying to find a solution for installing a cable lock on a small
form factor PC (Shuttle). This is a requirement of one of the
companies I work for when traveling so the solution needs to be
"travel friendly."

Is there an add-on for desktop systems to install one of those
Kensington security ports?

If not, I'm planning on using one of those small retractable cable
travel locks. I'll just need to find mounting hardware and location
that the cable can loop through and that is user/travel friendly (cant
stick out too much or the PC wont fit in its carry case).

Found out one can get a Kensington Security Port Adapter (
"http://www.microsaver.com/html/2190.html" )from Kensington (I think
some of the locks come with a form you send in to get the adapter).

I have one of those small luggage security cable locks and saw a
website that sells a similar cable device (
"http://www.cyberguys.com/templates/searchdetail.asp?productID=7418" )
and it comes with an adapter that works with the Kensington port and
the special end of the steel cable.

Going to try this route first. Hopefully I can find a decent place to
mount the port adapter. If all else fails I guess I'll epoxy a metal
plate with a hole in it to the bottom of the case.
