If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Will KillDisk eliminate any data I want off my HD? I am donating it and want
to be sure that no one tries to recover stuff from it.

'Killdisk' could be anything.

The answer to the question depends on whether you have
Flight simulator Al Queda edition on there along with
pictures of sex with unborn children.

If you are giving the machine to the CIA the answer is no
but if its the boy scouts, then wipe it, reinstall an
operating system and don't worry.

Now where did all those essential driver disks go ...

I dont know about KillDisk, but DBAN does a good job on that and it is
free and opensource.
