The East Tennessee Cyber Security Summit Planning Committee is
pleased
to announce the 2008 East Tennessee Cyber Security Summit to be held
on October 21st and 22nd, 2008.

This fourth annual Cyber Security Summit will again be co-hosted by
the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the University of
Tennessee
(UT), Fountainhead College of Technology, the Tennessee Valley
Authority (TVA), and the Tennessee Valley Authority Office of the
Inspector General (TVA-OIG).


This is an opportunity to bring together security professionals from
academia, government, and private industry to evaluate =93Cyber Space
Profiling=94.


We are spotlighting three keynote speakers this year. First will be
Lt. Col. Timothy Thomas, U.S. Army - Retired author of =93Decoding the
Virtual Dragon=94. Second will be Detective Randy Stone, Wichita
Police
Department, discussing the BTK Cyber Investigation. Third will be
Kevin Mandia discussing several aspects of profiling cyber crime.


This year's event will be held at the Knoxville - Hilton Hotel in
downtown Knoxville. Lodging has been arranged with Knoxville Hilton
and Holiday Inn Select Knoxville at the Knoxville Convention Center.

Registration is $85.00 until September 20, 2008 and $100 after that.
