We have a form that was submitted with a lot of crazy stuff in it. Any

Obviously this is spam. You know what? Spam can also be posted on a website
in users' comments.

I did see that when i searched on google for some of it. Its very
cryptic like a bot or something.

At one stage when I ran a message board system, I used to get
an amazingly persistent load of links presumably from a robot
the technique of promoting websites in Google by splashing them
everywhere that may be spidered, is I believe called trampolining

Filtering content didn't work, however requiring users to enter
a code of a graphic stopped its inclusion although even six months
later it kept on hammering my site daily.

The traffic came through proxy servers.

We were thinking of the same process to stop this from happening. A
security graphic of some sorts. Thanks for the info.

If anybody else has knowledge on this . . . the more, the better.
