I'm running Kaspersky Internet Security 7 on win2000. Yesterday morning,
I updated Kaspersky and after a reboot a while later Kaspersky said the
antivirus databases were corrupted and that the license key was out of
date. I could not start any of the protection components. I had to
rollback to the previous antivirus database to fix the problem. That
night, I tried updating Kaspersky again and had the same problem after a
reboot. I rolled back to the previous databases again. I am not updating
Kaspersky because the problem might happen again. Does anyone know what
is going on with Kaspersky's updates? Has anyone else out there had the
same problem?

update: I tried updating Kaspersky again and had the same problem after
reboot. Now I have these annoying windows saying the virus database is
out of date.

I updated Kaspersky twice in a row thinking that if the first got
corrupted, the second would fix it. I also set it to not update the
application modules. Then I rebooted. No problems, everything is fine.

The same thing used to happen to me on ver 3. Just wait a few hours or
next day. It`ll probably work.
