If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I'm confused........I've just noticed this in a folder along with
'mrt.exe_p' on my HDD, and searched for information.
Some information gives it as 'uknown malware' that should be removed PDQ,
other information (including 'properties') gives it as connected with M/Soft
Malicious S/W removal tool.
Adware/Spybot/MS Antispyware/Avast/Spycatcher all pass by and don't identify
it.
There is no adverse activity that I can monitor.
Would appreciate other's views to help me do the right thing

Thanks Art, have done that.............& Thanks PCButts1, have run Ewido and
that went by this file also (but it did identify 11 others not identified by
the others)
