hello,
i have a windows 2000 --me
i open windows media player then click on the Copy to CD or Device
option on the left side. then i click on the drop down arrow on the
right side and click on my mp3 player. right when i click on my mp3
player an error message says: wmplayer has caused an error in
rpcrt4.dll ----- if you continue to experience further problems restart
computer. i have already downloaded songs to my mp3 player many times
before, so the problem isn't that my mp3 player doesn't work with
windows media player.

any ideas?

thanks.

Not a virus related issue.

It is one DLL in a chain required for Microsoft's rendition of Remote Procedure
Call (RPC)
run-time library.

Are you using Win2K SP4 ?

What version is your DLL ?

With all updates it should be v5.0.2195.7020
