crck_ori.a = was detected within NERO. What is it, is it dangerous?

How to remove it?

Should I even worry about it?

Name = crck_ori.a

thanks

I'd do a bit of google searching first before posting here on a public
newsgroup. If you don't know how to use google, you probably should
shut down your pc and step away from it.

The reason I say is that this link
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/grayware/ve_graywareDetails.asp?GNAME=CRCK%5FORI%2EA
tends to suggest it is a cracking tool to break copy protection in nero.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=crck_ori.a&btnG=Google+Search

NOTE it found 2 pages of info on that word!

This is why I asked something HERE

I used google BEFORE asking the question HERE

And that is why I gave you the link to Trendmicro's web site. Its one
of the hits, and trendmicro is a virus program (developer). THEY seem
to think its the crack part of a pirated copy of Nero. Only you know
where you got your copy and how legit it is. If its retail boxed,
then its a false positive. If its not, then I would question it.

Now just because someone writes a program to circumvent the copyright
part of a program does not make it a bad program or detrimental to your
PC.

All this YOU have to weigh, as only you know the answers to these
questions.
