I'm sorry but I don't understand fine. I have read the specifications
but I don't understand if Ad-Aware 2008 has an integrated antivirus.
I'm using NOD32. Have I unistall it?
Thanks for info.

Do NOT (repeat NOT) uninstall NOD32, that would be very unwise.

NOD32 is one of the very best antivirus products available and has been
so for some years.

Ad-Aware is know as an antispyware product.
Why Lavasoft (Ad-Aware) now adds an "antivirus protection" is a mystery.
(probably some commercial reasons)

Lavasoft is completely new to the antivirus world, so nobody knows how
Ad-Aware antivirus will work (will it work?).
So please ignore the "antivirus" part of Ad-Aware, you will not need
that at all.

In your original posting, you never told us, why you would want to use
Ad-Aware, I guess you are looking for antispyware for private use.

If you are looking for good antispyware software, take a look at:

- SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition 4.1.1046
http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
(the bottom one of the two possibilities)

- Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
(do not buy, but just download, this is free for private use)

The free version of these two products can be quite sufficient for the
average home user, along with some "safe hex".

THANKS very much for your advice. Yes I like to use a very good
antispyware software. I get many spywares every days and I need one
very good.
I usually use Spybot - Search & Destroy and AD-Aware.
Do you think SuperAntiSpyware is better than AD-Aware?
thanks
