I am using IE7 on Windows XP. Suddenly, I cannot access some popular
websites, I.e., www.gmail.com. The problem is in valid certificate and the
clock is set to 2000. If I continue to connect to the website, the url
address bar becomes red colour. My Symantec antivirus program does not
detect anything wrong. Can someone advise what happened.

Thanks,

Scott

This is NOT malware related it is IE7 related in conjunction with your PC clock.

Reset your PC clock and time zone. You may need a replacement CMOS battery if
the date/time
does not stick.
