Norton Internet Security 2006 came with my new computer. it has free
registration for 6 months then need to pay $$.

It has been setup for nthe Firewall and the Email anti spam filter as well.
Can anyone advise whether this program uses a lot of resouces.

I will change to another Antivirus Suite most likey after that but not sure
yet which one.

Norton is most widely known for the bloat. So the short answer is yes,
it uses a lot of resources. Personally, I don't prefer security suites,
as one product may be good but another from the same company generally
fails in my book. So, my setup right now is to use Avast and Kerio
Personal Firewall (KPF puts Norton and ZA to shame, IMO). Avast is free
and pretty reliable, but many like Kaspersky (not free). Kerio is also
free. With that said, I hope that if you have DSL or Cable that you're
also behind a NAT Router. I hope you find the products that best suit
your needs.

Regards,

Will

Jack the Ripper El Capitan William where is the blood at in this NG?

I hear you run around in NG's with knife in hand, stabbing people in the
back and slitting throats, because you disagree or don't like what
someone is saying. You do a pussy, plonk and run when you do it too I hear.

I think your family at home won't let you play them like that, so you're
out here on the Internet doing it.

You are NOT Dr. Phil out here on the Internet.

You are just Jack the Ripper El Capitan William slitting thorats,
stabbing people in the back and a dancer.
