Which supported Symantec/Norton product(s) provides command-line
access for anti-virus scanning, preferably on Win XP?

I have read, unofficially, that it can be done with Norton Corporate
Edition 10.x but that its results are frequently inaccurate.

Is there a supported option for command-line anti-virus scanning
from Symantec in a product for Windows server (2003 or other) ?

Thank you.

If you use a BartPE disc you can use a plugin that uses the same Norton
preinstallation scanner that came/comes on their retail discs.

Thanks Michael.
Is the scanner that its using VPSCAN.exe, or something else? Can
it scan a network drive (mapped to drive 'K:' for example)? Can it
save its results to a text log or similar?

I'd like to experiment with the scanner itself before going into
BartPE territory, which I have no experience in yet. Can you point me
to details on the scanner?

Thanks
