I would like to hear comments, pro and con, from anyone who has used or is

Simple reply -- Don't.

There are *much* better AV applications.

I'm open to suggestions/
AVG--Slows down my computer appreciably.
Avast!--I don't have a clue as to what is going on.
eTrust EZ AV--They don't know which end is up.

NOD32 would be my first choice.
if you need a free one try AntiVir
BitDefender has a free scan-only version.
About AVG-did you try adjusting some of the settings? On-close scanning
seemed to slow it down along with the office plug-ins. AVG doesn't slow
down my older system as much as eTrust or Avast did.
