If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I dont know whether it is a virus or not.. I have tried installing
Kaspersky and Norton.. The virus in my system doesn't ask me for KEY
and also it completes the installation.. But disables them for
scanning process.. Others like AVG, Bitdefender, McAfee are all
installed individually and working correctly... But they don't detect
this virus... It is definitely not a spyware.. Because i have scanned
using AVG Anti-Spyware.... When i try to open or explore any local
hard drives, it displays a "d.com" notification and ask me to press
DON'T SEND Or else it opens them in a seperate window... Tell me some
solution...

It has disabled viewing the hidden files and folders in my system even
after checking the option in folder options control panel..

I couldn't delete in MS DOS command prompt also.. It displays access
denied error... But i am the system administrator...

Have you tried booting in safe mode? What did you try and delete
VIA MS-DOS?

What OS are you on?

I would also suggest searching this forum for mutli-AV and go that
route (if you can).

You don't have MULTIPLE fully installed anti virus applications installed
simultaneously --
do you ?

To use this utility, perform the following...
Execute; Multi_AV.exe { Note: You must use the default folder C:\AV-CLS }
Choose; Unzip
Choose; Close

Execute; C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT
{ or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS }

NOTE: You may have to disable your software FireWall or allow WGET.EXE to go
through your
FireWall to allow it to download the needed AV vendor related files.

C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT -- { or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS}
This will bring up the initial menu of choices and should be executed in Normal
Mode.
This way all the components can be downloaded from each AV vendor's web site.
The choices are; Sophos, Trend, McAfee, Kaspersky, Exit this menu and Reboot the
PC.

You can choose to go to each menu item and just download the needed files or you
can
download the files and perform a scan in Normal Mode. Once you have downloaded
the files
needed for each scanner you want to use, you should reboot the PC into Safe Mode
[F8 key
during boot] and re-run the menu again and choose which scanner you want to run
in Safe
Mode. It is suggested to run the scanners in both Safe Mode and Normal Mode.

When the menu is displayed hitting 'H' or 'h' will bring up a more comprehensive
PDF help
file.

David, I haven't seen you mention Kaspersky's Free AVPTool.
It's a really cool emergency malware detection and cleaning
scanner. After a couple of days it automatically reminds you
it's out of date. I simply download the latest build and install
it over the prior build. Since I only use on-demand scanning
once in awhile, I just use it with the default Startup scan
option and let it scan boot sectors, memory and startup
objects. Takes only a minute.
