I have a question about the test results display on AVG Free Edition or,
better to say, the lack of them.

I have AVG set to automatically run a scan every evening at about 22.30, but
sometimes I will run a manual scan. When the scan is completed, it will
simply go over to a window called Test Result. I then have to scroll down
and find the result from the test that was run, or I have to push the Test
Results button on the left side of the page. Then I have to scroll down
again to find the right test and push the Details button to see what the
test result was.

But I seem to remember earlier, when I ran a manual scan, that it would
automatically flash the test results. These test results would normally
state in bold letters that no virus was found, or something of that nature.

Can anybody tell me how to get this notification back for when I run manual
scans? Call me lazy, but I don't like sifting about for a test result. I
installed AVG free edition on a friend's computer, and the manual scan
always displays the result upon completion.

I should add that I am running Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 5100 notebook.

Many thanks in advance for any and all information.
