Leave it to the professionals to do unbiased comparative testing. Take any
recommendations from any other sources with a grain of salt. Virus Guy is
usually on one soapbox or another - just ignore him. It is not unusual for
a poster to ask for opinions, or voice their own opinions, on other aspects
of AV programs than just their detection rates.

Good points. But, if it's unstable, it's no good no matter how effective it
is. It'd be nice if a program had both, high efficiency and effectiveness,
with stability and a smoother user interface. So far, we don't have that
product. Is there any AV code writer out there who could deliver such a
product? I doubt it.
