I used to be a staunch KAV advocate, but Kaspersky programs
have become progressively less reliable and frighteningly less
secure over the last 2-3 years.

It is sad to watch a formerly great program self-destruct, but
shutting your eyes to the facts and childishly "plonking" those
who successfully rebut your statements does not address the
ever-increasing number of security problems hitting Kaspersky
users with ever-increasing frequency.

In 2007, Kaspersky is NOT the antivirus of choice.

I did not plonk the idiot because he or she posted an informative
Secunia advisory, but because he or she showed an abysmal paucity of
substance between his or her ears.

Did he or she offer any alternative solution in answer to the OP's
question? No.

Had he or she chosen to post constructively, I would have been happy
to continue the discussion and take on board any reasonable
suggestion. As he or she did it, by transferring the attack from the
issue to the person, no discussion is possible.

Just like he or she is entitled to try and show the world how well he
or she can imitate sewer floats, I am entitled not to be interested.
And bozo filters have been invented just for that.

As far as the Secunia advisory is concerned, Secunia also points out
that the issue has been corrected by Kaspersky.

Do _you_ have an alternative suggestion within the limits of the OP
question?

Regards
