Clearly the anonymous poster always knocking free anti-virus software is a
shill, probaby working for one of the paid products being promoted.

Avg, Avast, etc., are only free for home use. They are not non-profit
organizations. If they were not also selling paid subscriptions to companies,
they would no longer be in business.

You asked which is the best free AV. My opinion, at this time, is Avast.
