I've used avast for over a year now and it has never failed me yet ! I
would asked the question do you really know what your talking about ?
Because from your comment so far it would suggest you lack any form of
intelligence ....

Mesaages like that don't get to me. I have been an IT-tech for 12
years (messing with conmputer for about 10 years before that :-) so I
generally know what I do (this is THE one thing I know I'm good at :-)

While I am currently waiting for my Norton subscription to run out, I=20
have recommended Avast! to friends and relatives seeking a low cost -=20
no cost virus security application. I've used Avast! in the past with=20
great success. Avast! appears to be the best free anti-virus program=20
currently available.
