Hi Art,

I downloaded the KASFX from your website. I understand that to run it I use
the 'mwavscan.exe'. With regards to updates do I need to execute
"Kav-up.exe" or "kavudp.exe"?

I believe I read something in one of your posts with regards to this but
cannot locate it now.

Thanks for all you help and insight!

You'll get a screen that explains this when you run KASFX. The av
program is mwavscan .com and the updater is Kav-up.exe
Both will be in the default c:\mwav folder.

When you run KASFX, the files are extracted automatically to
c:\mwav and then the updater is run followed by the av
program. Thereafter, you use c:\mwav\Kav-up.exe to
update and c:\mwav\mwavscan.com for the av.

Art, I ran the KASFX today after seeing another post. I`ve tried all 3
servers; same problem.
It connects, runs thru some items and then says: error in server
response.
Are the keys out of date?
Regards
Buddy b

Apparently so. I now see the problem. I've decided to withdraw KASFX.
See my post with subject KASFX for a explanation.
