If you mean the Price worm, here's McAfee's description:

this new virus?

If you have a suspicious sample file you can upload it to Virus Total
and find out:

BTW, please quit posting in HTML. Use text only.

Please don't post in alt.comp.anti-virus using HTML. The charter for this

See Art's post about a two year old W95/Price.worm

If you are referring to an email message that has a ZIP file as an attachments
such as...
newprice.zip , price_09.zip , price????.zip , etc

Then it is most likely one of the new variants of the W32/Bagle virus and yes,
McAfee is up
to date.
McAfee VirusScan should be using a minimum of DAT v4585 to detect these latest
Bagle
variants.

If this is NOT the case, you are going to have to be more specific in your reply.

I received email from Charles and it was a Bagle variant and the PC is now clean.

He did not post a reply to this thread because he is having problems with OE
posting in HTML
even though he changed the setting to Plain Text.

If you are still in contact with him, maybe you can check to see if he
changed the reading in plain text instead of the sending in plain text
setting.
