I call my article Budget Backup since it outlines a technique
involving freeware drive cloning software, and inexpensive
hardware, some of which you may have on hand from used
PCs:

The relevance to the subject of malware is, of course obvious.
It's ideal to be able to Restore your system drive easily in the event
of malware infestations which have caused file damage or deletions
and/or are extremely difficult to remove. But also, covering yourself
for the event of main hard drive failure has always made sense to
me.

Yep, thanks. I've added a MAILTO (my email addy) to make it easier for
people to send me feedback. My plan is to make modifications to my
article based on feedback from those who run into difficulties.

Is this what you call a multi-post, or have you just got a pet peeve
