Hi all;
Please let me know about this. I have read numerous articles
which state: do not mess with PC drivers; or don't fix drivers if not
broken, and so on. Fine, but my question is why the freeware PC
driver scans and updaters are generally condemned as dangerous,
inaccurate etc.
Let's act as if this were right. We have File Hippo and Secunia
which reveal the status of our applications. What stops some good
person from getting the accuracy of File Hippo or the security of
Secunia, for PC drivers?
Just a question, no offence, but it bugs me. Can someone tell me
some answers?
Thanks ahead of time, friend.
Robb

I use 'Driver Genius' which cost about $29 US and find it to be very useful
indeed, It allows me to update all my drivers periodically from their
correct original sources, and it has kept me fast and up-to-date for a
couple of months now, a very useful program, well worth it.
I do not know who has advised against updating drivers. My reading tells me
the exact opposite. Many PC problems can be put down to old drivers.
