AFP - In the equivalent of a holdup in cyberspace, a new computer bug
locks up a user's file with encryption and demands a 300-dollar
"ransom," security experts say.

Ya know, it would sure be nice if you posted a website to go along with
your little announcements. Something like
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.cryzip.html
would be more helpful than your blurb

I totally agree. This idiot keeps posting current events w/o posting a URL.
Some of these
posts are Off Topic and that Web Forum to UseNet gateway sucks as well. Example;
"...user's..."

When you get down to it, this is NOT new. We saw this activity in 2005 and it
was described
in an IEEE paper ~10 years ago. It's called cryptovirology.
