If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Hi everyone, i am using NOD32 v2.50.16 and it seems as though it is not
updating to the latest virus database 20060120. Every hour or so it tells me
its updated the database, but the version number remains at 20060119. I have
tried to update manually and the same occurs.

Any help most appreciated.

this isn't very helpful, but mine has updated to xxxx20. So
it is working....at least for some of us.

check your log and perhaps you'll get some info. I always
have entries in the logs about how it can't reach the server
but then it reaches it a bit later..

Mine is updating fine as well...

NOD32 antivirus system information
Virus signature database version:        1.1373 (20060120)

Logs as mentioned before, may hold some vital information.

As others report, mine updated OK also. However, a glance at the
event log shows a much higher rate of connect failures since 1/20 than
previously.

I had the same problem with the update 1.1375 ( 20060123 ) so I went to
"Setup_Location Server" , chose "Choose automatically" and I could
download it no more problem
