Hi

I have the free edition of AVG AntiVirus software installed on my
computer. Recently it's indicated that I have a threat called 'JS/
Downloader.Agent' on my computer.

I'm not sure that this is really a threat at all. It may be just a
part of Javascript, I assume that's what the JS means.

Can anyone identify JS/Downloader.Agent ? I've searched the
Grisoft.com website and Googled quite a bit, but not found any hard
information either way.

Many thanks!

It is a threat. It is a Downloader Trojan in a JavaScript.

That means in a JavaScript there is malicious code meant to download some EXE or
DLL file
and install it on your computer for whatever nefarious objective the author has.
