I wonder if anyone can help me with this little McAfee niggle?
McAfee AV and Firewall failed to prevent a virus attack which screwed my
system. I now use other AV software, but because of the virus damage I was
unable to properly uninstall McAfee. But mcupdate.exe refuses to leave my
Registry...Windows/Current Version/Run folder. I have deleted every
instance of McAfee software, Agent, sheduler, updating etc that I can find
on my system, registry etc, but mcupdate doggedly persists in my Run folder.
Could anyone please advise me how to kill it once and for all?

This utility removes McAfee VirusScan 5.x, 6.x & 7.x

Otherwise I suggest you ask is in the McAfee Forums.
When you do, please make sure you explicitly state the version of McAfee you are
using.
