If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I am using AVG and used Norton AV before. If a virus is discovered, it
wants to quarantine them. Why cant you just delete them?

Insurance.

If a given file is as an infector, it can be quarantined. If it is later deemed
to be a
false declaration then the file can be restored from quarantine.

This is a good thing !

You can delete them from quarantine.
