Hi, from 2-3 days I have a problem with my connection.
I have ADSL and after 15-20 minutes the connection stops to transfer
data.
It always is connects but there is no transfer data.
If I turn off my PC my connection is ok for 15-20 minutes or more.
Do I have a virus problem?
I use Win XP Pro.
Thanks for some info.

bye Fogar

Have you done a scan with your AV program to check for any, are you also
running Anti malware/spyware programs.

Fogar, if I had to guess, it sounds like a non-malware problem. If it
were malware, restarting your PC would probably have little effect.
You don't say whether your B/B connection is wired or wireless. I'm
assuming it's wired. Do you have a router or just an ADSL modem?

Try this: shut down your PC and disconnect the modem from its power
source. Wait 5 minutes. Reconnect the power to the modem. Wait 2
minutes. Restart your system. In that sequence, please. This works with
a lot of intermittent B/B problems. If this doesn't work, suggest you
contact your B/B carrier and have them check the problem out for you.

Just for grins, do you happen to be able to access your modems
diagnostics page? If so, what is its SNR (signal to noise ratio),
upstream and downstream power levels?

Actually, I'm a fornicator :). But seriously, I'm happy for you this
appears to solve the issue.
