I would like to know how I can configure AVG to scan any incoming files
being sent via MSN Messenger. I am not sure how to do this as I have just
stopped using Norton's Antivirus so any help on this is appreciated.

By default (if the AVG resident program is up-to-date), any
files you try to open would be pre-scanned by AVG prior to
allowing them to open. You can readily tell if the AVG system
is up-to-date by looking at the icon in the task bar; if it's
black, red, green and yellow, it's generally okay. If it turns
grey, it's out-of-date (and windows will probably warn you as
well if you're running an updated SP2.)

Best regards,
Marc
