Hi,
I'm new to this NG and tuned in looking for help. I installed the subject AV
program and do not like it. It will not let me remove it. I get a message
about a file being corrupted or in use and cannot be removed (Ppctl.exe).
Try logging in as the Administrator and try again. I did that but no luck. I
tried it in safe mode, still no luck. I contacted CA about the problem and
they referred me to an Unstaller down load that did not work even in safe
mode. Since then they have not responded to my emails. The program includes 4
parts, I was successful in removing the AV part. The antispyware, firewall
and antispam will not budge. I'm thinking about removing them manually one
at a time. What potential problems can I encounter by doing so?
Thanks for any help,
jll (fake addy)
