AntiVir is better.For scanning,BitDefender has a free stand-alone
scanner. How about using David's Multi_AV scanner? See my pages below

I just went ahead and purchased BitDefender Antivirus Plus - version
10 iirc. The free one was kinda meh on some points and I almost
snagged Kapersky but BD won a huge Consumer Reports thing. I bought
mine from http://antivirus.citationsoft.com.
