Left-click on the systray "a" icon.
Select the "Standard Shield".
Click the Customize button.
On the Basic tab, everything should be checked.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Look through the list in the scrolling box, to see if .exe and .bmp are
listed there as 'not to be scanned.'
If this doesn't help, I have no other ideas.
