Well, guess I really screwed up. All the above you stated happened to me,
and I deleted and cleaned out the Vault on two computers. Now to hope for
the best that nothing weird starts happening. So far everything is normal.
I hope they get a fix for this problem soon. However, mine had mucho junk,
and several Trojans mixed in.

So why isn't IE configured to *prompt* you before installing an AX
control? YOU decide what to install. Or maybe that is how IE is
configured and you've been accepting every AX control that someone wants
to push at you.

Good point Van......, so can you guide me in configuring IE to prompt me. I
can't seem to find the key to do it.

Hint: Internet Options -> Advanced
Now what in there do you think might have IE prompt you for an AX
download?
