AVG file cache location under XP? Bill Jillians 09-14-2007

Over the past week I have downloaded several corrupt AVG download
updates. These files stay in the cache and AVG doesn't try to download
the good ones as it erroneously thinks it has a good copy already.

Can anyone tell me where the download file cache is for AVG? Which
directory? I'm getting tired of downloading the full AVG program a few
days later and then reinstalling.

Thank you

Have you posted this question in the AVG forums?

Try a different AV solution. AntiVir is a good choice.

Thanks Max

Right clicking on Update Manager -> Settings -> Advanced gives you an
option to delete all update downloads in the cache.

Since that is what I was going to do anyway when I found out where they
were that fixes the problem.
