I am using the free version of AVG-Antivirus and running it along with
McAfee Security Centre and everything is running fine, except for one thing,
when AVG. downloads its updates. Once it updates the computer screen freezes
and I have to switch off the computer using the on-off button on the
computer as the keyboard freezes as well and I cant log off properly, which
is not good thing to do at the any time. Can anyone tell me what is wrong
here? Thanks for any advice.

Please let us know what operating system you are running.

By the way, WinXP SP2 has a Security Centre.

Thanks for your reply YoKenny. I already had the Microsoft security Centre
running as well as McAfee and AVG. But I still have the problem with the
keyboard and screen freezing up. YoKenny what are you advising me to do?
