Hi All

I am now running AVAST anti virus at home and so far it has done the
job very well.
My only problem is the scan message bar that keeps appearing at the
bottom of the screen every time I move directories/pages etc. It is
extremely annoying. Is there any way I can hide this bar. I have
searched and cannot find any setting

Any help offered will be gratefully received

Iain

Double click the avast icon in the taskbar, click 'details' (unless you're
already in 'more details' mode), select Standard Shield and click on
Customize.

Choose the Advanced tab and deselect 'show detailed info on performed
action'. Nex
