Kaspersky Lab says it has identified a method for salvaging files
maliciously encrypted by the Gpcode .ak virus

The GPcode is a cryptovirology based Trojan and is not a virus.

When the first Trojan using Cryptovirology was seen, it was almost 10 years to
the day
since an IEEE paper was written predicting it.
